Aerial & Yin Yoga - The Story
Aerial Yoga commonly known as Antigravity Hybrid Yoga helps beginners to get introduced to aerial exercises on hammocks; the class emphasizes basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle action so that the body can learn how to balance on aerial hammocks. It is an intense aerial fitness training program fusing elements of conditioning, Pilates, ballet and dance flow on aerial hammocks. Regardless of its beginner pace, we will deliver a challenging workout. No experience required.
Aerial Yoga achieves a total-body workout, while being suspended from a hammock that is about two to three feet off the ground. In aerial yoga, this hammock which is made of fabric acts like a swing, allowing flexibility and easy movement. It is used to change our dynamic relationship with the ground, allowing us to understand our body better.
Aerial Yoga or antigravity Yoga as many call it, encompasses major health benefits by providing a workout that allows one to stretch and strengthen the body, without overstressing the joints or compressing the vertebrae. It is especially recommended for people suffering from back issues, as the hammock acts as a support system. You can try all the yoga poses suspended in air and the fun of doing asanas in the air is unmatchable.
Yin Yoga is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia.
Yin yoga teaches you to relax your body deeply, calm your emotions, and stimulate the vital energy of the meridians (similar to nadi) and organs, while inducing a deep and intense stretching. Supports such as cushions, balls, tiles are used to allow the body to enter deeply into the asanas thus letting the energy flow and remove the emotional blocks that lead to physical blocks.
The purpose of yin yoga is to relax the muscles and stimulate the connective tissue by applying optimal tension for a while whilst maintaining a deep breathing.

Our courses are devised after in-depth study of yoga texts and by teachers having years of experience in yoga techniques.
The 100 hours course
Often we have heard that students have practiced the traditional Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga. And they want to experience exclusively Aerial & Yin Yoga. Hence, we have designed a course which is focused on a complete practice of Aerial & Yin.
Our asana clinic (Alignment and Adjustment) classes focus only on the Aerial & Yin poses. We also cover anatomy and touch base with the yogic philosophy.
Everyday meditation is included to relax you at the end of the day.
100 HOURS PROGRAM - CURRICULUM
We have defined a curriculum with the expertise of several aerial gurus in the world. The prime objective is to prepare the future teachers physically and spiritually and make them ready to practice and teach by themselves. We will lay down the foundations to become a successful and well-rounded yoga teacher.
The main areas that we cover in our program will be classified in 5 modules: Yoga Techniques, Teaching Methodology, Yogic Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics, Philosophy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Practicum.
